How to connect your Gmail

fridoom reads, read only, the notices your banks and investment platforms send to your Gmail, and turns them into your transactions and your portfolio. Here is how to connect it.

Open fridoom in the browser

Step by step

  1. Open fridoom

In your browser at app.fridoom.com, or in the iPhone app. Nothing to install.

  2. Sign in with your email

Tap Sign in with email, type your email address and tap Send me the link. You can switch the app to English with the language button at the top. Signing in with a phone number and a WhatsApp code is also available, but not required.

  3. Open the link

You get Your fridoom link. Tap it and choose Continue in the browser. It works once and expires after 15 minutes.

  4. Create your account

The first time, type your name, tick both consents (your data under the privacy policy, and the use of AI) and tap Create my account.

  5. Connect your email

On Home, at the top, next to Connect your email, tap Connect. Google shows its consent screen with fridoom's name and the permission to read your Gmail. Tap Continue.

  6. Done

Google leaves you on a page that says Email connected. In the browser, close it; on the iPhone it closes by itself. Back in fridoom, notices from the last year from your banks and investment platforms come in on their own, and every new one after that.

  7. Your invoices, only if you want

In Profile, Invoices and Read my invoices: with that separate consent we also read your Colombian electronic invoices (DIAN) to show what you bought in each payment.

  8. Disconnect anytime

In Profile, Connected email and Disconnect: we revoke the permission with Google and delete our access. You can also remove it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
